Asking the question “Is that true?” about every statement spoken by others about who we are as individuals or as a group, and then answering according to the Word. Without being a jerk.
This brings freedom from identity lies spoken over us. This also brings freedom from fear of wrong teaching when we are practiced in receiving through the lens of God’s Word with the Holy Spirit.
But it does mean knowing the Word enough to be able to know the answer to the question. So it’s a good thing you’re all students of God’s Word!
