2022 with Every Day Faith

dailyscriptureguide.substack.com

Hello my lovely friends,

In 2022 I will no longer create and share a Daily Scripture Guide each month.

To all of you who have been faithful, who have encouraged me, and who have been with me from the start I send you my deepest gratitude and appreciation. You have been the why behind it all. I love you!

If you are bummed because you love the EDF Daily Scripture Guide I’m going to let you in on two not-so-secret-secrets…

  1. You can find the DSGs all readily available here through Substack whenever you want!

    All EDF DSGs

  2. You can download the PDF book, “What God Says” which is a collection of the Daily Scripture Guides.

    Get "What God Says"

  3. Bonus point: the purpose of being in God’s Word is not to make Him happy or make Him move, but rather to re-program our soul to trust Truth. I encourage you to REPEAT scripture you “already know” rather than only pursuing “new”. It’s the foundational scriptures that are the first thing we learn and the last thing we master.

If you want to keep in touch with me, Tabitha, leave me a comment!

As you may have noticed I have completely stopped using social media so I will not see your DM’s through any accounts. (BTW: haven’t missed it at all.) I’ve been asked if I’ll ever go back? Probably not.

I’ve been told I “should” be posting because it’s such an encouragement to so many people. Which of course makes me feel loved and little blush-y. But I have to say this in response…if each of us choose to be determined with our Word time and honest with the Holy Spirit then we all become that encouragement to the people in our lives! YOU are the example people need! You already “are” and you already have all you need as long as you stick to His Word!

In 2022 I am focusing solely on Every Day Faith Coaching.

In 2021 I coached more than any previous year. The ministry of coaching women in their relationship with God is my first love. Coaching was the original inspiration for the creation of Every Day Faith!

What is faith coaching? It’s one part bible study, one part training in how to converse with the Holy Spirit, and one part Growth Coaching. It is for every believer at any place of their journey in believing God.

My style of faith coaching cuts to heart of challenges through asking questions with the Holy Spirit until He reveals the root. Then, with the support of the Spirit, we tear apart destructive thought patterns, and replace them with what God Says!

This conversational, prayerful, scripture-driven style of coaching brings freedom, light, and relief to people over and over again.

And now, a little personal update from Tabitha…
2021 was a hard year. There was loss. There was war. There was disappointment.

2021 was a year of blessing. More coaching, time with family, new ministries, and a new campus for our church. I have been hired as Chief Operations Officer and my husband has been brought on board for digital services!

It’s easy to get so bogged down in all the hard stuff, which is why the Holy Spirit gave me two practices to discipline my soul when I have so many invitations to doubt God:

  1. EVERY SINGLE DAY: pray, OUT LOUD and with our names in them Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:16-21, Ephesians 3:14:-19, Ephesians 6:10-18, Philippians 1:9-11, Colossians 1:9-14, Deuteronomy 28:1-14, Psalm 103:1-5, and Psalm 107:1-2, 19-22. Then I speak in the authority given to us by Jesus in Luke 10:19 to all darkness that would torment us and tell them where to go because we’re covered in the blood covenant of Jesus.
Speaking these every day is not to “move God.” God has already moved through Jesus (Hebrews 4), but rather to move ME deeper into absolute belief in what He has Said.

  2. Every time my brain starts rehearsing all the hard things I choose to rehearse all the blessings and thank Him. Psalm 103:1-5

At the end of everything, God is GOOD. God LOVES us. God has given us everything we need to thrive by knowing Him. (2 Peter 1:3-4)

Happy New Year to you, dear one!

Happily,

Tabitha
